Verizon Wireless’s Samsung SCH-I760 - The Review
After a long wait, the Samsung SCH-i760 has finally came to the market. Samsung has partnered with Verizon wireless to launch this product. It’s best suited to business users with many features and capabilities. Unlike its mate, the Samsung BlackJack, this smartphone is a bit bulkier. It is 4.4 inches x 2.2 inches x 0.7 inches in dimension and weighs about 5.2 ounces.
It has a 2.8 inch touch screen display with a 65K color support at 320×240 pixel resolution. The quality is sharp and bright which can be viewed in any lighting condition. It also has the touch screen facility to navigate around. It has the popular QWERTY keyboard in which it can be accessed by sliding the front cover to the right. It’s very easy to use, and it’s user friendly.
Coming to it’s features, the mobile phone has all the tools & accessories that you will ever need to handle it. It works on the Windows 6 professional of MS Office Mobile suite which can be used to do all sorts of things with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. You can even customize things as per your needs and requirements.
For wireless users it has Bluetooth 2.0 support, which can be used to connect to wireless devices, to do wireless file transfers. It also has the integrated WiFi to surf the internet at any hot spots around you. It also has a EV-DO card built in, so you can have data speeds of about 2.4 Mbps.
The i760 has Windows media player which supports a large number of file formats like AAC, MP3, WAV, WMA, MPEG-4, WMV etc.You can even transfer your favorite videos and watch them on the go. It also has a 64 MB RAM, and 128 MB in built flash memory. But theres no reason to worry as it can easily be expanded upto 2GB with its expansion slots.
